La Tavola: Spring 2015

Top Sirloin Steak

Message from the Winemaker, Michael Barreto:

“As part of our “keeping-it-local” theme this year’s wine festival, I thought that we would take the “La Tavola” Club down the same path by pairing our inaugural release of Cabernet Sauvignon from our Acquarello vineyard with top sirloin steaks from J & R Natural Meats… [This company] features locally grown and naturally raised, hand-cut meats. Their Paso Robles and Templeton stores stock a wide selection – one of the finest anywhere – of fresh local natural meats from the rich pastures of the Central Coast.

The olive oil is 100% Arbequina, a Spanish variety, grown on our estate. And the seasoning is a blend of salt and cured herbs from Paso Robles Preserves.

The goal is to combine high-quality, natural ingredients to create an unforgettable meal. I hope that you enjoy this year’s selection.”

This is what was in our Tavola shipment in 2015!

Le Vigne Di Acquarello Cabernet Sauvignon 2012 (1.5L)

This exemplary vintage of our Acquarello Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits layered aromas of cassis, cedar, and bing cherry. The palate is elegant with nuances of cranberry, cherry cola, tobacco, and velvety tannins.
